| St. Basil's Ukrainian Language Arts Society (ULAS) was incorporated as a society in 1975. The purpose is to offer Ukrainian dance, language and other
cultural programs to all ages of children and adults.
ULAS Society:
- is provided use of facilities owned by the St. Basil's Parish.
- is administered by volunteer parents, whose children are participants in the programs.
The requirements of the Society are that certain executive positions are held by parishioners of St. Basil's (ie. President, Vice
President, Treasurer, Secretary, Parish Council Rep, and Board of Management Rep.). All other positions may be filled by non
parishioners.
Philosophy
It is the intent of ULAS to retain Ukrainian Culture by promoting and providing high quality dance programs to meet most membership
needs.
The existence of ULAS and the success of the programs it offers is highly dependant upon volunteers.
